"Unfortunately, I'm not going to bother finding out for myself since they're being made available at $1.99 each. Sure it's cheaper than the original cover price (by only a dollar), but why should I fork over cash to buy just ONE issue when I can buy the next TWO of "Atomic Robo: Dogs of War" for a penny less?"
Well, the easy answer to that is that some people get more enjoyment out of Marvel Zombies than Atomic Robo and you could be one of them. Not all comics need to be thought of on a comic to dollar ratio.

I'm new to digital comics. Part of what I find appealing about them, aside from hard copies not taking up space, is that most companies offer the first issue free and subsequent issues for only 99 cents. It's allowed me to try new series, I otherwise wouldn't have read, at minimal risk to my wallet. I am now a fan of 7 series that are completely new to me. Of what Marvel has released, "Marvel Zombies" is the one I would have given a try since I've heard reviews that run from one extreme to the other. Unfortunately, I'm not going to bother finding out for myself since they're being made available at $1.99 each. Sure it's cheaper than the original cover price (by only a dollar), but why should I fork over cash to buy just ONE issue when I can buy the next TWO of "Atomic Robo: Dogs of War" for a penny less? If Marvel decides to become competitive in the digital comic market, I'll try them out, but at their current prices, my entertainment dollar will go to comic book companies with more business savvy.
