I agree, and have been fans of the red Cricle characters since the publication of "Archie's Superhero comics digest magazine #2" in 79! These characters have been though 2 complete revamps now, and both times seemed destined for cancellation. This iteration was much better handled than the old Impact comics line, but still mis-managed IMO. Just throwing the characters into the DCU 1st and then integrating the DCU into the books was the wrong way to go. The editors should have known that placing the Red Circle characters in DC books 1st would generate much more interest than just hoping people would care about thier stand alone introduction to the DCU. And here we are about a year later, the 2 series have failed and now they're trying one more than likely last attempt. I'll buy it as I did every ish of both the Web and the Shield. Both those books have been great solid superhero comics ( even if the Shield back-ups were poorly drawn) and I expect the Mighty Crusaders to be at the same level of quality. Its a real shame that the Red Circle books haven't garnered more attention, heres hoping that TPB sales will be a boost overall.

Hope this and the subsequent mini do well enough to keep these characters alive! Love the Red Circle/MLJ/!mpact/Archie characters!
