Best art I've ever seen from Tony Daniel and a very compelling introduction to the Joker.

Did anyone else notice the strange character in a cloak with a red aura in this book? I have seen him in a number of other books.

I've never been a big comic reader, and maybe this "new 52" is all a ploy for people like me, but I really liked this. I just read "Long Halloween" & "Dark Victory" and I can sense something similar here. They're getting at least 3 issues of this & "Batman" due to this one issue. Well done DC.

After reading only one thing to say...... Subscribed! It is entirely possible I might enjoy this better than "Batman", but we will have to wait for that comparison. The image on the last page will stay with you long after you close this book.

Surprisingly good book. I've never been a big fan of Daniel but this is above average stuff with potential. It's nowhere near the same league as Snyder & Jock, but we're about to have Batman #1 for that...
