Faust was first published in Japan as a fiction magazine showcasing innovative short works by young authors, and has since become central to Japan's pop-culture scene. With its bold mix of anime-influenced, super-cool short fiction with illustrations by popular manga artists, Faust quickly became a must-read for Japanese teens, a McSweeney's for the anime and manga set. Faust 2 is the second collection of stories and manga from Faust magazine. It will introduce American fans to a host of new writers with the same accessible storytelling and genre-bending plots they've come to expect from manga and anime.
