Nanase continues to investigate the death of Fire Chief Tsuruga, convinced that it was no accident. Meanwhile, someone is out to stop her by any means necessary. When she's attacked at home, the only one who can help her may be 'Firebug,' the mysterious arsonist. Then when the son of Nanase's supervisor becomes the primary suspect in a fatal fire, she sets out to prove he's not guilty.
