Rygart deals with his guilt over the death of Dan, the Golem pilot. Later, he's sworn in as part of the Krisna army and his own Golem is outfitted with a new, external armor. Outside of the city, Zess' unit sets up camp and plots its next move. Cleo wants revenge against Rygart, who she believes is responsible for Lee's death. But first Rygart has to go up against his friend Zess.
