The story takes place at the end of the one-week quarantine Gunborg and his men were placed under. As the solicits say, one victim was claimed but the main focus of the story was Gunborg's actions. I won't spoil them here, but I will say that his true colors are finally seen, as was expected.
Hilda is continuing to struggle in a world of men, but she gets surprise help when her safety was being threatened. It's a nice surprise that not only hints to us the direction this story may go, but it can be foreshadowing if done right. I have complete faith in Brian Wood that it will.
I can't say anything different about the art that I haven't already... excellent, beautiful, breathtaking, stunning. You take your pick. They all apply.
Overall, this story arc continues to remain one of my current favorites. Depending on how these last issues play out, it may become an all-time favorite. But once again, I have complete faith in Brian Wood. ;)
