This story arc continues to blow me away. This time, we have Gunborg convince the Great Hall to take a group of men outside of town to visit the neighboring towns in hopes to find food and other supplies. He is allowed to do this under the condition of being quarantined upon returning to the village.
The art, as usual, shines in this issue with the scenery being shown outside of the village. As always, a beautiful story to read.
In the meantime, Hilda continues to endure the hardships of being, and raising a daughter, alone. But the story focuses mostly on Gunborg and his men. The ending is a cliffhanger of sorts. It's nothing shocking, but it definitely leaves you wanting to see the next issue.
Like the three issues that preceded it... an excellent title.
