This was a phenomenal ending to Stark: Disassembled! Tony continues to struggle through the prison in his mind with the aid of Doctor Strange all the while being helped on the outside by many faithful friends. Both sides of the story are compelling and give you everything you were hoping for in this dramatic conclusion. Tony must come face to face with some horrors of his past in order to finally be "rebooted" while his friends deal with the onslaught brought on by an ethereal assassin. Even among all the drama there were a few moments that made me laugh, mainly a mutual revelation between Maria Hill and Pepper Potts.
As always the art was distinctly Iron Man and was beautifully aided by another great Larocca cover, possibly the best yet. A few crossover characters were not among my favorite representations but overall artwork was terrific.
It was a great end to the current story line and sets up the possibility for a fantastic run for Invincible Iron Man in the Heroic Age. And for those of you wondering how Stark could deal with all that he has done in the past few years here is your answer!
