This issue goes more in depth with the background of the Red Skull and was exactly what I was hoping to see out of that story. Unfortunately that was the best part of the issue. On the whole nothing much really happens in the issue and leaves you wanting more, I guess that's how they sell more issues. The part of the story that occurs in the present was lackluster at best and focused too much on the new Avengers that I am not attached to. I also thought the story has avoided the only characters that I do care about, one being Hawkeye, who contributed very little to the issue.
I will continue to buy this title but I do hope to see more out of the upcoming story line. If the next story isn't as compelling as the Red Skull plot than I will very likely stop reading this title.
