For this review i will probably be executed and my body will be pissed on by comic fans around the globe so before i start I just want to tell my hamster, machete even in death i will love him. Now I will begin.
For fans of the ultimate universe, ultimatum will be heartbreaking, you will cry burn all your ultimate comics and hunt dow poor jeph loeb and kill him where he stands but for fans of the mainstream universe who justs wants a bit of fun and alot of death and violence this is fu&!*%g amazing. Its just so funny and entertaining and stupid at the same time you wonder how someone who has won so many awards has created this but i believe this is why:
1. the ultimate universe was lacking sales and attention
2. loads of people have bought this due to shock value
3. He just wanted fun with a comic and characters which mean nothing to him.
Personally i love the art the violence and it makes me feel like a crazy american kid who runs around shoutung "get off my lawn" while waving around a pretend gun. But giving good old Mr loeb some serious credit, i do love the ending due to my love of quicksilver, but my only concern is where will that fit into the future as no future x men titles have been anounced. I do reccomend this comic and you dont need to have read any of the previous issues its just great fun.
