Is there a more fun book on the market than Booster Gold? I know I can't find one. This is a book where anything can happen. Booster can meet anyone in any time and have an adventure. And Dan Jurgens is using that fact to have Booster work with heroes in their best incarnations.
But in addition to that, Jurgens is managing to build a massively cohesive book that builds completely on the issues that came before. You get the sense that every moment is important, and I often find myself pulling out back issues to reread them and catch little moments that are now suddenly central to the plot.
It's great to see the 1980s versions of the Teen Titans. They never looked better and Jurgens, who also pencils the book, brought his A game. Starfire in a bikini isn't overly buxom, but is none the less strikingly beautiful. Cyborg, Donna, Wally and the rest of the team all look phenomenon.
I can't recommend this book enough. If you're a fan of good fun, intricate stories and beautiful art, you need to buy this book.
