I'm not going to beat around the bush here, this issue was UGLY, yeah you heard me U.G.L.Y., you aint got no alibi, you're UGLY.
I mean how many artists do you need on one issue to make this look half decent. Clearly more than the 3 here or maybe just 1 person who is actually talented. Panel structure was, erm, interesting, they would probably tell you it was experimental, it's like they cut up all the panels and then threw them in the air and hoped for the best as they landed. Take these 'artists' off this title immediately.
Fortunately, but only just, the actual story made up for lack lustre art department. Slott paces the emerging storyline pretty well, action packed with a sense of the clock ticking in the background with doors closing off by the minute. Punches thrown, dimensions hopped, traitorous team members and creepy man and robot love action fill out this issue.
These maybe a version of The Avengers but I'm still not convinced these are 'Mighty' ones.
By the way, why were USAgent and Quicksilver missing in this assault on the Baxter Building?
