In "Reston" writers Brett Matthews and Neil Turitz are joined by illustrator Vatche Mavlian for a haunting tale of monsters and broken dreams… all in the once bustling mining town of Reston, where things are decidedly not what they seem.
40 page special featuring a cover by John Cassaday!
I was hesitant to shell out $4.99 for this special issue, but it was worth it. A solid Western story, sprinkled with supernatural elements, told in this one-shot.
This was my first Lone Ranger book, and I was able to follow along perfectly fine. This issue gives you everything you need to know to enjoy the story, no strings attached. If you like Westerns, or you want a break from the regular superhero fare, I'd highly recommend this issue. As for me, I think I'll be checking out the Lone Ranger monthly from here on out.
