Through the decades, many heroes have taken the mantle of The Flash, but they all ride the lightning that crackles in the wake of the greatest hero the DC Universe has ever known, the man who sacrificed himself to save the Multiverse: Barry Allen!
Good overall launch to reintroducing Barry Allen to the DC Universe. As a reader who is more familiar with Wally as the Flash, it's been interesting to see how Barry is characterized. I'm only familiar with him as a martyr from COIE. My only gripe is the re-introduction of Bart. I realize he came back as a result of Legion of 3 Worlds, but his part in the story just seemed a little forced.
