Anyone else excited over 'Blackest Night', or am I alone?

I picked up the Free Comic Book Day book, and I just can't get into the Technicolor Lanterns. Not that it's a bad concept, but it doesn't impress me, either.

i can't wait for it, geoff johns can do no wrong at this point.do you think they only killed martian manhunter in final crisis so they could bring him back as a black lantern?

I think a lot of the hero deaths were arc related and Geoff Johns created a really scary and interesting way to bring back the best of the best. I had a good talk with both Robinson and Johns at comic con they both seemed to have a really good direction and some really creepy arcs planned out. We'll see how it goes but I'm psyched. Black lantern aquaman and batman? I dig it.
