The series will be 8 issues long, with each issue having a Jetpack Comics exclusive cover, limited to only 1000 copies! Now many of you know the history of the Coheed and Cambria comics, including their insane value. I believe that the Jetpack Exclusives will be some of the rarest Coheed books produced to date! WARHAMMER 40K BOOTCAMP SATURDAY 10/17 - Seacoast Gamers in collaboration with Jetpack will be running a 40K Boot Camp from noon to 5 on Saturday October 17th. The boot camp will include a painting clinic where you can learn painting techniques from the best painters in the area. Miniatures, paints, and brushes will all be provided.or feel free to bring your own miniatures to work on or get painting advice. We will also have several tables set up to do demo games for 40K newbies. The games will be 500 points and there will be several fully painted armies available for use including Orks, Tyranids, Ultramarines, and Eldar. If you are new to 40K and have already started an army, feel free to bring your own 500 point list to try out. Painting is not required. Next time you're in Jetpack also check out the Orks & Tyranid armies on display provided by Brad Hardy. It even includes a giant Ork Stompa!

After the 40K Boot Camp Jetpack will be hosting a 40K Tale of Gamers. The Tale of Gamers is an awesome ongoing monthly event where the participants grow their fully painted armies together. We feel that games are much more fun when the two opposing forces are fully painted. Participants paint 250 points of their chosen army each month (with completed bases) and play in a series of battles with their accumulated armies. The Tale of Gamers will run for 4 months, at the end of which participants will have a fully painted 1000 point army. Building up an army with a group of people is a really fun way to play and stay motivated and excited about painting. If that weren't enough incentive, Jetpack Comics will be giving a 25% discount the day of the ToG event if you have completed painting your 250 points for that month. The deadline for the first month will be at the beginning of December. Watch for it!

BRINGING BACK YU GI OH – Saturday 10/3 we're bringing back Yu Gi Oh. Join us @ NOON on Saturday 10/3 as we attempt to kick-start Yu Gi Oh at Jetpack Comics. If we can get it going on we'll become a tournament store again! Come and join us every Saturday from now on!

DOLLAR COMICS ARE BACK – Sure, we always talk about our basement full of unsorted comics but who'd ever believe it was true? Well every week you're gonna see that we didn't lie about it! We're going to keep a table full of Dollar comics for you all to shop every day of the week. It's all unsorted (unless we get our selves motivated) and unpicked by dealer fingers! Prime comic inventory for just $1.00 each! AS it depletes we'll add more! Watch for them returning this week. PS – Since people like to mess things up the clerk has the final say on whether the book really is a dollar book or not!

2) Daledo's Comic Book Reviews – No one loves you like DALE loves you!

Daledo's Comic Book Review #276 – Power Girl!!!

Last night, I went down to Dover and hit up some bars with some of my friends, and at one of the many watering holes in the city of Dover, we saw a girl who was dressed and looked like Power Girl. No bull crap. My buddy, whom some of you might know, Greg Chick, saw her before I did and called her Power Girl. Not to her face, but to me and the rest of my friends. My friends didn't know what we were talking about, so I pulled up a picture of her, and showed them and they were dying of laughter. So we ran into her at another watering hole and my buddy Tommy took my phone, walked up to her, lifted up the phone like he was comparing her, and then said something along the lines of "It's totally you." He proceeded to show her and then PG dragged Tommy to go show some of her friends. All night we called her Power Girl. Too bad she wasn't really her, because we could have used her to break up the fistfight that broke out at the end of the night.

On to the reviews:

Giant-Size Wolverine: Old Man Logan by Mark Millar, Steve McNiven and Dexter Vines

The Lowdown: Let's face it. Old Man Logan was probably one of the best arcs on Wolverine ever, and certainly the best one since, well since Millar's last arc. It has been one of the coolest stories that I have ever read. It's so unique and the art is absolutely beautiful. If you have been reading Old Man Logan, then you don't really need me to tell you how awesome this book is. So instead, this review is for the people that haven't read Old Man Logan at all.

What Happens: What happens in this book is what we've all been waiting for since the end of the last issue, which if you've been reading it; you know what I'm talking about. It's very brutal, violent, bloody and awesome, all at the same time.

Should You Buy It?: This might have been the most violent comic I've ever read. It was all beautifully illustrated by one of my favorite artists. Millar is one of my favorite writers, so this book definitely takes its place as one of my all time favorite stories. That's saying a lot. Ask anyone at Jetpack, they will all say how much they all loved Old Man Logan. If that's not enough reason to read Old Man Logan, I'll quote Jetpack's twitter. "So I've read Old Man Logan three times now...what a finale! If you haven't gotten it, you probably hate comics." If you love comics, you need to read all of Old Man Logan!!! This book gets the Daledo Seal of Approval.

Superman: Secret Origin #1 by Geoff Johns, Gary Frank and Jon Sibal

The Lowdown: All you had to say was that Geoff Johns was writing this book and that Gary Frank was doing the art and I was sold. I know that the origin of Superman has been told a million and one times, but as long as this creative team is telling their version of it, I am all for it.

What Happens: Clark Kent is in high school, and he starts to see the development of his powers, especially his heat vision after a kiss from Lana. Ma and Pa show Clark his true origin, and Clark meets Lex for the first time.

Should You Buy It?: This book reminded me of a version of Clark's childhood that's more true to the comics that have come in the past than Smallville is. I love a good Superman origin story, and you can't ask for better creative talent than Johns and Frank. This book was really good, and I shouldn't of been surprised, but I was surprised as to how good this book was. As much as I enjoy Smallville and how they switch some things around to keep things interesting, I much prefer this origin story. I hope that the rest of this mini-series will be as good, but with these guys on the book, I don't think I have to worry about much. This book gets the Daledo Seal of Approval.

Daledo's Pick of the Week:

Freddy Vs. Jason Vs. Ash: The Nightmare Warriors #4: The shizzle has hit the fan in DC!!!

See you in the comics,
Daledo
