Daledo's Comic Book Review #275 - Lots of stuff.
Last week saw the release of Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2. The sequel to the amazing first game is even better. The first half of this game is ripped right out of the comics, dealing with Secret War and Civil War. The game feels more open and not like you are "dungeon crawling" and there are a lot more bad guys to fight at once and the fusion powers are amazing. I highly suggest anyone that's both a fan of comics and games to pick this one up.
Also, there were a ton of amazing books that came out last week. Invincible Iron Man, Deadpool: Merc With A Mouth, Ex Machina, Dark Reign - The List: Daredevil, The Walking Dead, Dark Avengers and Blackest Night were all awesome. Why can't we get more weeks where you get lots of great books and even have a few surprises, like Iron Man and Dark Avengers? If only I had my way.
On to the reviews:

Dark Reign- The List: Daredevil by Andy Diggle, Billy Tan and Matt Banning
(or as Ralph likes to say, Andy Dingle and Matt Banging - get it....he switched the letters in the last name?)
The Lowdown: You have to love Dark Reign - The List. Why? It's all this top-tier talent, usually writers who are working on that book and superstar artists, working on a book that could act like one-shots, but have the tie together factor of Norman Osborn's need to get rid of certain threats to him. Diggle is taking over as Daredevil scribe and Billy Tan is an amazing artist. Put them together, and you have a great book.
What Happens: Daredevil, is now the leader of The Hand, and he has to past some tests to deem himself worthy. When some crooked cops are killed, Osborn pins it on Daredevil and he sends Bullseye to take him out.
Should You Buy It?: The book was crazy. If this is what I should expect from Diggle's run on Daredevil, then sign me up. It will be interesting to see what it's like having Daredevil be the leader of The Hand. It's something that we haven't seen before and it's an interesting new direction. I know Billy Tan is not the regular artist on Daredevil, but he drew an amazing issue. So far, The List books are great reads. This book gets the Daledo Seal of Approval.

Invincible Iron Man #18 by Matt Fraction and Salvador Larroca
The Lowdown: I said to Ralph this week, talking about Iron Man before I even read this issue, that whenever I read a Matt Fraction book, it feels like I am reading a big summer blockbuster. That's not a bad thing. It's actually a good thing. The deconstruction of Tony Stark is something that we aren't a stranger to, thanks to his problems with alcohol, but this is a deconstruction of a different kind. Tony is losing his memory so Norman Osborn can't hack into it and learn the identities of all of the superheroes that registered.
What Happens: Tony Stark ends up in Afghanistan and makes it to a redesigned Mark I suit, the only suit simple enough for Tony to operate. Things get worse for Tony Stark and just when you think its over for Black Widow and Maria Hill, well, that's when stuff gets really good.
Should You Buy It?: It's the only Iron Man book in town right now, and this arc, World's Most Wanted, has been great. Salvador Larroca is an amazing artist and Matt Fraction storytelling ability makes for a great read. This book was full of twists and turns and was pleasantly surprised on how good it was. This book gets the Daledo Seal of Approval.
Daledo's Pick of the Week:
Wolverine: Giant Size Old Man Logan: It might have a $5 cover price, but this bad boy will be worth every red penny.
