who do u think should be in th next batman movie if it is being made? Supposedlly on the radio that Johnny Depp is going to be the Riddler and they r going to hav Catwomen in it and the penguin wat r ur thoughts on it and do u think Robin is going to pop up?
Man, I hope they don't use Depp. I don't think he has the jive to be the Riddler. I hope they don't make the mistake of using too many villains in this one. If they use the three you suggested, that movie would be far too full and end up like Spider man 3. I think just the Ridder would be fine, and they better keep Robin out of these films. He has no place in this darker vision of Batman.
well i would hate to see robin in it if they keep the same serious tone of the dark-night as for depp as riddler it might work who knows
Honestly I don't like Robin in general so I'm biased lol. I just hope they don't screw it up like the last one. Everytime that movie gets brought up it still puts me in rant mode. I mean really? No backstory for the Joker??? What about Two Face??? They both have a few backstories. Why couldn't he have picked one? Or hell why not be creative and come up with a new one?? That would have been better then nothing. I digress, I'm kinda hoping it'll have the Penguin in it. I don't really want Catwoman in it unless it's done well. How bout Poison Ivy? Maybe Harley Quinn?? Kinda like her going after Batman for offing the Joker lol now that might be interesting. Though I suppose,considering the last movie, that is unlikely to occur. How sad. Anyways, I have pretty low expectations at this point so hopefully I'll be surprised. Also, yeah Depp as the Riddler??? Really? That sounds like an awful idea. I was never all that into the Riddler but still. There is no way in hell that he'd make a good Riddler. Then again the majority of their decisions haven't been very good.
The thing about the joker is, He's never been given a back story. He told two different versions of it in the movie, which was fantastic considering that what the comics did. Also, we won't see a poison ivy in these movies. Nolan said in an interview that he will be keeping all super-science villains out of it, so no one who was created in a lab accident or who has crazy powers will show up.
Haha that's awful! But.... so damn funny xD honestly I'm glad he can't be. Everyone swooned over him as the Joker and honestly he wasn't that great. I think no one wanted to say anything just because he croaked...like that's supposed to change the fact that he failed almost as bad as Christopher Nolan.
I agree Heath's part as the joker was horrible! You mean to tell me they thought he was better then Jack? yeah right! i thought as a whole the new batman was not at all entertaining. especially with Christian Bale as batman, Christian Bale is a bad actor..he is on the same level as Ben Afleck! in mu opinion because Dare Devil was the WORST! comic movie ever, i dont know what Stan Lee was thinking when he signed off on that one!
Meh that's all fine and great but I have seen and read quite a few backstories for the Joker. I highly doubt that Nolan is trying to stay true to the comic series. I think it's quite obvious that he doesn't care about that. It's not just the lack of a backstory that bothers me though. I mean why bump off two villains in one movie? Why would they kill off Commissioner Gordon so soon? Where is his daughter? No daughter means no Batgirl.With the Joker being killed that means no Arkham Asylum which means no Harley Quinn. I dunno I just don't like where he went with it. I understand "artistic vision" an all but come on don't fuck around with a good series. Save that shit for Marvel(minus Xmen cause I'll admit that's one that doesn't fail epically).
Ooo I liked Jack as the Joker. Now that was one messed up version lol. He had that fun but "scary" insanity about him which is why it was so perfect. The Joker is supposed to be like that that's kind of the point ya know? As for Dare Devil... ugh I couldn't watch the full movie it was sooo bad! I'm sure most people wish they could forget that movie. Though, honestly I never really liked Marvel movies. I mean I love the X-men movies. They had a great cast and they were made pretty well but besides that Marvel does not seem very good when it comes to movies. On a different note I'm kinda curious to see how the upcoming Captain America and Green Lantern movies are going to do.
