I love the fact that when you view your pull list it's in alphabetical order by book but when the list is printed it breaks down by publisher the book. Is there any way to get the list to print alpha by book?
I wonder if it's easier for the comic book store workers to find the comic in the book that way (if something doesn't come in) to see if they were supposed to get it, or if they can still get a copy for you. (I know my comic shop tries to do that for me and I'm assuming other customers. My shop rocks!)
Probably, but when I'm browsing through the new books and trying to remember everything I wanted to pick up it would be helpful to have the list alpha by book title.
My shop tried displaying the new books by publisher but the general customer consensus was that it was annoying.
I don't know if you knew what I meant or not, but I was referring to the Previews order book.
Maybe if it was listed both ways, or we could choose how we wanted it?
Oh I understood what you meant. That's kind of the funny part. When you view your pull list before printing it's in order by title but when you print it that's when it reorders by publisher.
I guess I'm one of the few who use the printed pull list on Wednesday to make sure I'm geting everything I was looking for. My shop will order anything I ask for but comixology doesn't seem to have the info early enough to base all my ordering on.
I use mine on Thursday when there's a big list, especially if it includes something I didn't know to order before and not part of my usual pull list at the store. I also wish that the full ComiXology listings coincided with the Previews order by date, so I wouldn't have to waste money on that huge catalog that I never remember to look for anyway. Plus my comic store seems to be getting them a week or more late every month lately.
(You'd think Diamond would want to have an online version, so it wouldn't have to spend as much making that huge catalog every month, since "saving money" is the reason they gave for essentially screwing over the independents. Then they'd only have to print what's ordered by people who may not have web access or prefer the physical catalog.)

That's what I was referring to, but there should be something on the site that links to the listings, like on the homepage. The only announcement I saw was a Twitter feed in the sidebar, and I'm not on the site that often, so I could easily miss those. I still ended up getting a catalog (instead of comics) because it wasn't fully updated the last time I looked. At least it makes it easier to update my pull list.
